1/4 cup veg oil

1/2 cup flour

1/2 cup chopped green onions

1/4 cup parsley chopped

1 cup fish/chicken stock (personal choice)

1tsp minced garlic

1lb peeled and deveined crawfish (shrimp can be used as well)

1 cup okra or zucchini

3/4 cup chopped mushrooms

salt and pepper to taste

hot sauce to taste

2 9 in pie crusts

heat oven to 350

heat oil in large skillet over med heat. Then stir in flour. Once mixed add onions, parsley, mushrooms, okra or zucchini and cook until tender. Stir in the stock, garlic, and cook until thickened. Add crawfish/shrimp, salt, hot sauce, pepper and mix well. Pour into pie shell and bake for about 1 hour.

So much for crawfish anything. My teenage son offered to peel the 7lbs of leftover crawfish for us to use in a recipe. When I went to go check on his progress, there were nine pieces of meat left. He ate them all while peeling! Grrrrrr....

You wouldn't be able to tell by looking at him, but that boy can consume major amounts of food.
