It appears Mrs. Blair was busted by US Customs for transporting an illegal drug into the US from Mexico.
If this is true, is she a Mule or user and why is she still an Attorney?
If it is true, will the Woodlands Township be run by another Marion Berry?
I call on Mrs. Blair to confirm or deny.

What is the date of that arrest? Is it current?
The top of the page says "CATW has not confirmed this story. It is considered a parody until confirmed."
I seriously doubt she is going to come on TalkoftheWoodlands.com and defend herself. She probably doesn't even know this is on here. Please update this thread when/if this is ever confirmed. Not because I am defending this person. But, in case it is NOT true, I think it is fair that be posted as well. And, if it is true, your questions are very valid.

And if it happened 20 years ago WHO THE HELL CARES! Don't worry about it FG it's just another inflamatory post to distract from the real issues of the election. It's what losers do when they know they have been defeated.

Did you post this so that she can have the opportunity to confirm or deny? Or to just muddy the waters a little more? Unless this happened recently and she will not be able to fulfill her duties, this has nothing to do with the issues at hand.
If it was way in the past, she has obviously fulfilled whatever she was required to do for the crime. Whether it was a fine or time or whatever. This has nothing to do with today's issues.

It becomes very obvious that you guys are new to MC. This place has hit the news many times in the past involving guns and drugs. I have several newspapers articles discussing the feds here looking into unexplained deaths, automatic, weapons, and drugs involving LE and Political officials, I merely posted to get the question answered how she could commit a Federal felony and still be an Attorney. You or I would have been disbarred and jailed. Thank God we live in a country where you can say no big deal, and I can say it is a big deal. Would you want her as your attorney if she is still using, or for that matter driving. As an Attorney she is held to a higher standard. She is an officer of the Court. I didn't break the story, but I posted it because some people do care about professionals breaking laws or using drugs.
You know it is not a big deal if the airline pilot has one cocktail, joint or if your surgeon has a little dube before he cuts your child open. If doing this is good for her, then it is good for all, to include the pilot and doctor.

Would you want her as your attorney if she is still using, or for that matter driving. No, I would not. But, I am not going to ASSume she is using because she was or did something however many years back. It must be nice to have never done anything wrong so that your past cannot be scrutinized. You are, however, in the minority.
I am not saying she is using or not using. But, I think bringing up something that is from YEARS ago is playing "dirty pool". Would you want someone constantly bringing up your PTSD and using it against you without you having the luxury of defending yourself? Chances are it does not effect your job today, but many could ASSume it does if only part of the truth was posted and it was left up to everyone else to think up what it means. You have no idea the circumstances of that incident and moreso, it has nothing to do with the vote going on here in The Woodlands.
No offense directly to you, but I am quite sick and tired of the hypocrites who think they can say whatever the hell they want and it is "okay" because they THINK it is true or there is a sliver of truth and by posting that sliver, they let people assume the worst. You, of all people, claim to want the facts. You posted something that stated clearly that it has not been confirmed. Confirm this crap before you post it. If it is true and RELEVANT to the vote in The Woodlands, then post it. Otherwise, it is "dirty pool".
Sorry, some of the posters on here know what I am talking about and I am sick of it. This just happen to be a perfect example of what irritates me.

BTW, since you didn't confirm it, someone else did. That doesn't change the fact that you posted it not knowing if it was even true.

I want to add that I do think you are a good man. I have met you in person and you are very nice. I think you have the best of intentions. HOWEVER, the road to hell is paved with good intentions and I think that many times on here you take away from your integrity when you post stuff to muddy the waters of the people involved on the side you are against.
If you would just state the facts that are relevant to the issues, you would get a lot further.
FamilyGal
10-27-2007, 04:30 PM
No, but many people could go on a message board and talk about you being crazy. Would you like that? If she served her time or paid her fine and again, it was years ago and has nothing to do with the issue, it doesn't need to be brought up here.
My point is, and I do have one, is that you bash people constantly on here without them being here to defend themselves and it is just wrong. You have every LEGAL right to do it, but it sucks and it just isn't right.

Read the article and look at her resume. Also I know Dozier and Mike Hinson. Like CM most people would have not been able to put this together as a spoof. Several people have known about this for along time, but it took this long to get it toegether. Hinson actually handled a case I was involved in, in 1985.

When people say and do anything to get their own way, it becomes obvious to everyone reading their comments that every single word is suspect for reality and truth. Pertinent facts, opinions and insights are good discussion tools, but this type of thing leaves an odor of "something rotten in Denmark", not on those accused or evil spoken of, but of the perpetrator of the information. A word to the wise - get less personal with the people who are respected for their efforts and you will be more respected yourself. If you think the normal person wants to read this type of information, you are dead wrong.
