Scared the crap out of me. I was in that hot tube for 45 minutes, then I got the contrast. Before they could get me back in, I had a reaction and couldn't breathe. Never had that happen before. Took about 5 minutes and then it passed. Don't want to do that again anytime soon.:eeek:

OMGosh! Did the reaction stop on it's own or did they give you meds?

On it's own. They brought a DR. in but it passed. Scary feeling though.

That sounds scary!! Was it an open MRI or closed? I could never do the closed one without serious drugs!!! I am glad you are okay.

I hate closed MRI's. I have never had an open one and would love to switch over to that. I never though to ask if I had a choice.

I would always ask, because most new places have the open MRI. I am way to claustrophobic for a closed one. Unless I am drugged beyond belief!
